Impleum Announces its Open Code Blockchain Platform

Impleum is a powerful and scalable platform for the development of decentralized apps (DApps). The DApps use the decentralized characteristics of the blockchain technology and a layer of powerful nodes to route information. The company says the following about its DApps: “DApps use the decentralised capabilities of blockchain technology and a layer of powerful service nodes to route information. This provides a high resistance to external attack. The software a widely dispersed system, that is why it cannot be destroyed. The cryptographic encryption of the system keeps your information private.”

The main blockchain of Impleum currently houses a cryptocurrency called IMP and it will be the center where all the lateral blockchain networks will be housed in the future. The lateral blockchains of the Impleum platform allow the companies to easily implement their own personalized blockchain networks without the indirect costs inherent to the building of their own blockchain network infrastructure. The lateral blockchain networks will store all the data of their DApps and scale effortlessly in conjunction with its project in evolution. This is what the official Impleum website says about the platform: “Impleum is a powerful and scalable path to develop decentralized applications. By leveraging Impleum’s masternodes, developers can easily create DApps that are not only highly secure, but also highly scalable. The core of Impleum platform is an object-oriented programming language C# with a huge developer community. Impleum main chain currently hosts the IMP currency will be future hub for all sidechains. Impleum side chains allow businesses to easily deploy their own customised blockchains without the overheads inherent in running their own blockchain network infrastructure. Side chains will house all the data of your DApp, scaling effortlessly in tandem with your evolving project.”

Quizi.io is a web application used for marketing purposes. It is a service that provides a series of convenient and informative quizzes and polls and the results are stored in the blockchain network used by this DApp. The results are reliable and immutable forever, according to the company. The users can discover answers to various questions or pass the test and earn a reward in cryptocurrencies.

OldStyleRacing is a mobile video game for iPhone and iPad. The company says this video game is a classic time killer designed as a retro cars racing game. OldStyleRacing is about double tapping and the players compete to achieve the best results by maneuvering a car between obstacles on the road and collecting coins. The collected coins can be exchanged for IMP, the native cryptocurrency of the Impleum platform. To do this, the users need to withdraw the earned coins to their Impleum wallets.

As mentioned earlier in the post, Impleum has its native cryptocurrency called IMP. IMP is a hybrid cryptocurrency based on the Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) protocols. The PoW protocol is used only for the initial distribution of the money supply. This is what the company says about IMP: “Staking your Impleum not only secures and stabilizes the network. It also rewards you with an annual interest rate based on the current block reward. The more you earn, the more earning potential you have. This key difference puts the earning power in your hands and not powerful mining cartels.

Proof-of-Stake just is a mechanism that allows the network to confirm transactions and prevent fraud. However, it does not require any resource intensive calculations to be performed. The only requirement is to have some IMP coins in your ballance and keep your IMP Wallet connected to the network. Periodically, your balance will be increasing as new coins are awarded to you for your support of the IMP Network.

Impleum Proof-of-Work mining is the process of making computer hardware (CPU and GPU) do mathematical calculations for the Impleum network to confirm transactions and increase security. Mining algorithm is x13. As a reward for their services, Impleum miners can collect transaction fees for the transactions they confirm, along with newly created IMP. PoW block reward linearly reduces the reward of PoW block from 48 IMP to 0.48 IMP. Mining is a specialized and competitive market where the rewards are divided up according to how much calculation is done.”

According to the company, this is what the Impleum platform has to offer: “Instant. Impleum transactions are simple and efficient. Private. All financial information, history and balance is confidential. Secure. Transactions are backed up across hundreds of servers. Staking. Forget power-hungry mining rigs – stake and earn interest. Masternodes. Service nodes that allows Impleum DApps to scale off-chain. Low fees. Impleum improves your savings with .001 transaction fees.”

Masternodes are computers that are constantly connected to the Impleum network and their goal is to realize certain tasks that allow the Impleum network to execute the transactions faster and bring more privacy to them. To run the Impleum Masternode, a certain amount of IMP is required as collateral. Moreover, the users also need to fulfill other requirements imposed by the Masternode protocol. This is what Impleum says about the Masternodes: “Designed to create a circulating coin supply, help provide the coin price stability needed for mass-market adoption, and reward quick investors with a more generous passive income.”

The Impleum platform also integrates wallets accessible through graphical user interfaces (GUI) on Windows, MacOS and Linux. The wallets can be configured in a few minutes and, according to the company, they provide a high level of security of the funds, while allowing the users to stake their IMP coins for greater interest rewards in the future. Impleum also offers command line interface (CLI) wallets for more technical users.

The Impleum road map looks like this: “Q2. 2018. Mainnet release. Q3. 2018. Listing on exchanges. Q4. 2018. Masternodes up. Q1. 2019. DApp open source SDK.”
