Galapagos trip, Lisa D - June 27, 2002 Our Galapagos yacht charter was in a nutshell WONDERFUL!! Latin Discover and the yacht operator are professionals and both companies exceeded our expectations. Despite our cancellation the day before arrival, caused by a sudden death in the family, and the prospect of no trip insurance and a 100% cancellation policy, Latin Discover helped organize a later cruise on very reasonable terms. Without Latin Discover's long relationship with the operator we are not sure we could have achieved anything similar, and we remain very grateful for how both Latin Discover and the operator handled our last minute crisis. We were delighted by the Mondriaan, a comfortable ship with the best crew imaginable. Every crew member could not have been friendlier, more hospitable, more helpful or nicer. They were truly a delight, all of whom surpassed our expectations about "customer service". Our guide Hernan was fabulous. His English is perfect, his vocabulary impressive and his knowledge about Galapagos and beyond, was awe-inspiring. He shared his extensive knowledge with ease providing explanations that were understood by both the adults as well as my niece and nephews (aged 9, 10 and 13). In addition, Hernan was wonderful with my father (who is recovering from a major illness), providing him ongoing assistance throughout the entire trip, and really special with the three kids. Hernan's passion for Galapagos, the waters, the land, the animals, and the conservation of this special and unique place is both exemplary and contagious. We also benefited greatly from the boat's diving guide, Rafael, who spent much time with my family, particularly my father and the boys. Rafael made a special effort to point out things to my father that he otherwise might have missed, and when the boys grew tired of touring, Rafael offered to occupy them with special "children tours", spending additional time swimming with sea lions, making sand castles and creating special time for the children. In summary, we felt well taken care of and looked after from start to finish on this trip and our entire family would like to extend our deepest gratitude for such a wonderful experience which exceeded our expectations.

trip, - March 1, 2002 The trip was great. We had a fantastic time. Lima tours organization was important to us. My husband really enjoyed that we did not have to worry about anything. He is now recommending your agency to many of his friends. I like that the tours offered many possibilities to hike, walk, move around... and trek in the mountains. Peru is lovely. I will try to go again. Taquille island, the Sacred Valley and Machu Pichu were amazing. My husband even went up Wayna Pichu and felt like Indiana Jones. We certainly had a blast. The Palomino Island tour to see birds, penguins and swim with the seals was worthwhile. Scott jumped into the ocean. He even "challenged" a male sea lion. (I decided not to swim since it was quite deep and open cold ocean water) I made friends with other people from Chicago and Edmonton, Canada that also booked the tour through you! I am planning to have you plan my future trips to Latin America. Thanks so much, Cristina T.

Costa Rica trip, Tamara B - February 25, 2002 We are traveling again and are in need of prices for June 5-15,2002 into San Jose. This time we are interested in a Galloper or another 4x4 big enough for 5 or 6 adults. We are "always" looking for the best deal!!! Costa Rica trip, Michael V - February 18, 2002 Just wanted to take some time now and say thank you so much for helping us plan a great trip!! We had a marvelous time in Costa Rica - the vouchers proved simple and effective. There were no problems using them with Sansa or Villas Rio Mar. Thank you so much for helping organize this. Of course one week is far too short to truly enjoy the country. We have to return in order to see the Central Valley and Guanacaste. But we definitely got a feel for the country and people there. That bus ride between Quepos and Dominical was a great experience. Thought about canceling our flight back to San Jose and taking the bus from Dominical, but didn't have the guts in the end. So, once again thank you. You did such a marvelous job of accommodating all of my last minute requests and changes of plans. The trip proved flawless and most enjoyable in the end. I will recommend your office to anyone who is thinking of a trip south.

Galapagos trip, Cathe D - January 24, 2002 I just got back from the Galapagos and had a fantastic time!!!! Thank you so much for all your help. The Samba was an excellent choice and I would highly recommend it to any others that are looking. The crew was fantastic and I was definitely pampered. The guide was also fantastic - Rod. Can't remember his last name but he has a lot of experience and is definitely a heavy in the world of guiding there.I had spoke to Lisa and she mentioned that things didn't work well for her but an email to you solved a lot of problems. I just wanted to let you know that the Samba and Andando Tours does a fantastic job.Take care and thank you again - easily one of my favourite trips ever. In a couple of days I am off to Cuba and then Trinidad and Tobago. As some point they will make me come back to Lima to teach, until then.....

The email and phone calls were effective and I can´t think that these chagnes could not have been made without your help Our guide left and was replaced by Harry, who was excellent! He told us so much information in 4 days, I fear how much overload we would´ve gotten in 8 days! He was entertaining, informative, kind, helpful and really knowledgeable about the area, history, geology, biology, etc.Thank you so very much for your efforts. Thanks again. Our trip ended very well and we were all pleased with Harry.

Galapagos trip, Les B - January 2, 2002 We had a great time in at Mindo and in the Galapagos. The Sagitta is a wonderful boat and so much space, more than all the others we saw had. We would recommend it to anyone interested in the Galapagos wildlife. We saw Blue Whales, which was a real bonus and the first for the ships captain as well

Galapagos trip, Kentaro N - December 17, 2001 I just arrived in Tokyo's Narita Airport, Japan, from Galapagos. Thank you very much for your kind help for our reservations.The cruise was extremely comfortable than our imagination. We could see a lot of birds, animals except fot penguins! We were so disappointed that there was no penguins at all on the island where usually penguins live.The three night four days cruise was a very short cruise, but we had very incredible impressions. We left Galapagos on 14 Dec, and stayed one night in Guayaquil, and also one night in New York.
