Punta Arenas is the gateway to one of the main magnets in South America for light and heavy trekkers, mountain climbers, and those who delight in beautiful scenery - the Torres del Paine National Park. Scattered through the park is a good range of accommodations, from luxury to refuges. Getting to the Park, ususally via Puerto Natales, is also a very attractive part of the whole trip.
